National AIDS Control Programme HIV infection in India is a major challenge with no State free from the virus. HIV/AIDS continues to show itself to be one of India's most complex epidemics - a challenge that goes beyond public health, raising fundamental issues of human rights and threatening development achievements in many areas. This document is the revised National HIV and AIDS, STI Policy for Ghana. It has been revised by the Ghana AIDS Commission in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, National AIDS and STI Control Programme (NACP) of the Ghana Health Service and key stakeholders, taking into account recent developments in the national and global response.
The HIV Surveillance System is the nation's source of timely information used to track the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
